Thidrek MacAtair is an interesting individual with many faces. The one he shows his pack is one that is accessible, artful, proud, kind, and intuitive. These are natural things that come to him, but show none of his negative traits. Thidrek prides himself on his mellow and calm attitude and his kind nature towards others, as well as his ability to stay alert and sober at all given times.
However, if you become close to him you will know him in a different light. Thidrek is not a positive soul although he tries to portray one to strangers, he is in fact very cynical and critical of the world around them. He holds regret in his heart which, at times, causes him to quite aimless in his ambition and the future of the pack.
Thidrek can also be considered airy, at times, which ties in with his lack of thought for the future. He is extremely private with his personal thoughts and feelings, typically refraining from ever giving a direct opinion of what he thinks, instead choosing to go with facts. He can be quite strict but he tries to carry his orders out in a kind way.
HISTORY
Thidrek's Beginnings • Thidrek grew up with a powerful Alpha as a mother and a salutary as his father. His father chose to stay as a healer and refused to take any actions as an Alpha by his wife’s side. Before Thidrek was born this caused a lot of controversy within the pack, as most saw this to be a weak and poor decision. However, at the time, there was no healer or anyone interested in healing, if his father, Jack, had left his post their pack would have been without one.
Thidrek grew up in a world where half the pack acknowledged his mother, Marriane’s, decisions and the other half would grumble and be half-assed. When he was about 8 years old, that half of the pack called to action. That either Marriane would step down and let someone else rule, or they would attack and force her out of position.
Thankfully, the half that still supported his mother, fought back against the others. Sadly though, his father died within the fight. He was healing a fighter who got caught trying to flee to safety when a man, Ferion, struck him down.
The fight only lasted the night and Marriane still reigned over the group. However, after the civil war everyones morals were shattered and Marriane was heartbroken. That day Marriane decided to leave their old pack home behind and move.
How Thidrek wound up at Lacuna • His mother, with the rest of her pack of 10, trudged to what she knew to be a safe haven. A pack called Lacuna welcomed them in, the Alpha Charlie took Thidrek in to train. Charlie became something like a father to Thidrek, and as he aged into an adult he became Delta, then Beta.
Where Thidrek is now • Charlie’s age was unknown, but his eyes held wisdom beyond his years. At Thidrek’s 28th birthday, Charlie announced he would be stepping down so that he could travel the world. Thidrek was announced as the next Alpha. The next day he took charge, as unsure as he felt, and announced Marsilia Coghlan as his Beta.

Thidrek stands about six feet, three inches and weighs in at two hundred and sixty pounds. He is built tall, muscular, and wide. He can take hits and deal them out just as quickly. He has dark brown hair that he keeps long, to his shoulders. He has a beard and mustache that he keeps neatly trimmed. He also wears glasses. He has a few tattoos on his shoulders.

Thidrek, in wolf form, is a hulking mass at three feet four inches at the shoulder, weighing in at a solid one hundred and twenty pounds of brute muscle and strength. He has a white base with dark grey markings. Over the grey is black outlines and more markings, specifically two lines that go down his muzzle. His fur is coarse and thick, helps to keep out the cold.
